Atlanta Krav Maga is currently offering a FREE introduction class to all myatlantamommy readers

So . . . what is Krav Maga you ask? Krav Maga is the official combatives training for all military personnel, Israeli police and security forces. It is built on a comprehensive system that relies on simple, instinctive moves
rather than rigid techniques requiring years of training.

Since 1999 Krav Maga has rapidly gained in popularity and almost 10,000 people are currently studying the art. It is widely used by members of the U.S.'s local, state and federal police agencies,
including the FBI and the Secret Service.

Once you have tried the class you will be hooked. It is an exceptional workout and
you leave each class feeling more empowered and confident.

Eric Sepeda, an instructor and the owner of AKMF, is one of only two black belts in Krav Maga in the state of Georgia. All of the instructors are amazingly skilled and fun to train with. AKMF is also offering a "two for one" membership special. Bring a friend to try a FREE class with you and if you dig it (which you will)
you and your friend can sign up together for 12 months and split the cost.

Atlanta Krav Maga has two locations, Roswell at Old Holcomb Bridge and The Forum at Lenox. They offer Fitness classes, Krav Maga training, Fight Classes (Level 2), and special defense seminars. Every three months AKMF offers a special weapons training class where you learn defense and disarming techniques.
October is Blunt Objects training. (and it's a BLAST!)

Check out Atlanta Krav Maga, tell them myatlantamommy sent you, and recieve a free class.

BORDERS:

All Borders Stores have an "Every Friday is Bean Friday" in the Seattle's Best Coffee cafe at Borders. Buy a bag of beans and receive a FREE medium beverage.

BARNES AND NOBLE:

First of all, let me just say,
Barnes and Noble FINALLY has FREE WI-FI. woo woo!

There are several wonderful used bookstores in the area as well.

Roswell Bookstore boasts an inventory of 100,000 used books. On their site they give you information regarding their trading policies and promotions. (though at last look they were mentioning a sale for Dec 2008)

The Book Exchange Marietta has new and used books. On their site you can put in a request for a particular book, check out upcoming events, and learn about their exchange policy.

One of my favorite used book stores is A Cappella Books in Little Five Points. They are not an exchange program, but they do buy used books. They host live music and reading. It is a fun bookstore to hit up on a date night. You and your significant other can share a yummy meal at one of the many fine eateries L5P has to offer and then head over to A Cappella for a relaxing browse of their amazing selection. You will find their link below. Be sure to check out
A Cappella's "join the choir" for more savings.

Don't see your favorite bookstore listed? We would love to hear from you. Keep checking back. I will continue to post new events, storytimes, and book signings as I hear about them.
